From a vibrant personality masking deep insecurities to a confident, purpose-driven woman, my story is one of transformation, though the truth is, I was doing this work long before I had a name for it. I once believed the crushing lies that I was fat, dumb, ugly, and worthless. I spent 26 years in the bridal industry anyway. I started in a bridal shop in 1999, and in 2010, I built and launched my own business, one that would go on to win multiple international awards, where I was a professional seamstress, wedding gown designer, and dressmaker. What most people never saw was the real work happening during the fittings. I wasn't just altering gowns. I was helping brides, prom girls, and others actually believe they were beautiful, not just hear it said to them. That's mindshifting. I was doing it years before I called it that. The contrast between my internal battles and what I was quietly building for other people taught me something I couldn't unlearn: we often achieve despite our self-doubt, but we soar when we break free from it. Through my relationship with God and dedicated personal growth, I discovered not only who I am, but the power we all possess to create meaningful change. When the pandemic hit, I stopped doing this work quietly and built a career around it. That's the truth I bring into every room now: success isn't determined by circumstances, but by mindset.

Today, that same instinct for transformation drives everything I build. I'm an international MindShift Coach, and this work now reaches audiences across 60+ platforms in 100+ countries.

My impact isn't only in what I say, it's in how I build. I built this entire site myself, from a blank page, with one guiding principle: everyone deserves access to real information, regardless of circumstance. That includes, for example,  a girl in Zimbabwe who may have to walk to the edge of town just to get a signal on an aging phone, with limited data and unreliable connectivity. So this site is lightweight, built as a progressive web app, with lazy loading and no unnecessary weight slowing anyone down. She gets the same access as anyone else who visits. People in developing countries matter exactly as much as people anywhere else, and I built this site to prove it, not just say it.

That same principle carries into how I run this business. I'm also a Business with a Cause: a percentage of every proceed goes toward helping orphans and preventing child trafficking. Doing good work quietly isn't enough. It takes real resources to reach the children who need it, so building a profitable business isn't separate from my purpose, it's part of how I fund it.

I'm also honored to serve as a World Citizen Peace Ambassador, recognized for living the Five Peace Actions and contributing to a more just and peaceful world.

I see purpose in people. It's a gift, one I believe comes from God, who had a purpose in mind before He created you to live it. I can often see it before someone else can. But I don't hand it out, and I don't tell people what their purpose is, even when I already see it clearly. Just telling someone builds on a weak foundation. They have to discover it themselves, or it won't hold.

So I ask questions. I push. I make people uncomfortable enough to actually look. It's slower than just telling them, and it would honestly be easier for me to skip straight to the answer. But easier isn't the same as effective, and I'm not interested in easier. I'm interested in effective.

This shows up in my business coaching as well. Purpose and work aren't always the same thing. Your job may not be your purpose, and that's fine. What matters is aligning what you do with the gifts that are part of who you were made to be. That's where the real friction usually is, not in a lack of talent, but in work that has nothing to do with it.

MindShift Universe will become an empire of mindshifting, built across every form of media that can carry it: podcast, digital platforms, coaching, writing, speaking, video, and other forms. Every piece of it exists to build people in a different way, and it will keep expanding globally, because a lie doesn't just stay in one country, and neither will the answer to it.

The specific need I'm building toward is simple to say and hard to do: helping this next generation build a better future than the one they were handed. And the next generation of leaders isn't coming later. They're teenagers and young adults right now, already carrying decisions they didn't make, in a world they didn't build. I'm not waiting for them to grow up before I start investing in them.

Change the person, and eventually you change what they touch: their family, their community, their industry, their country. That's the actual plan. Change the world by changing those who will change it.
